A Self-Organizing Multi-Agent System for Distributed Voltage Regulation

This paper presents a distributed voltage regulation method based on multi-agent system control and network self-organization for large distribution network. The autonomously organizes itself into small subnetworks through the epsilon decomposition of sensitivity matrix, agents group themselves these with communication links being determined. Each subnetwork controls its by locating closest local generation optimizing their outputs. simplifies reduces size optimization problem interaction requirements. approach also facilitates adaptive grouping self-reorganizing to maintain stable state in response time-varying requirements changes. effectiveness proposed is validated simulations model real heavily-meshed secondary Simulation results comparisons other methods demonstrate ability independently regulate adapt unpredictable conditions over time, thereby enabling autonomous flexible networks.
